Nope,  The tail lights were the same on GTO and LeMans,  the actual color is Marimba red.  I have been trying to figure out a way to use the  wheel covers from the polar lights kits on my original 64 kits,  have used a set of poverty caps on one of them.

Absolutely superb build as always Peter, just goes to show how good these basic old screw bottom kits can look with a lot of talent and patience ! 

One question.....how did you do the posable steering ?

Thanks Troy. I could possibly go back and fix that detail but probably won't - I'm already too involved in the next project ;).

One question.....how did you do the posable steering ?

Thanks Gary. The way I do posable steering is purely functional and doesn't look at all prototypical (or even elegant). It's a bit complicated to describe but I'm planning on doing the same thing on my new project (a Jaguar XK120) so I'll take pics when I get that far.
