Hmann68 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Wow man, this may be my favorite of yours that I've seen! Really sharp!
crazyjim Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 Thanks Christopher. It might be my favorite too.
Bucky Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Such a nice, clean build!! Very cool wagon! I'd drive one of these around my hometown!!
kelson Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Great build!,but that interior really stands out!!
TarheelRick Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Exceptional build . I also have one in the stash, may get to it one of these days. Really like the color and the front license plate. "Welcome Home"! from a SEA participant.
High octane Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Thanks Mark, David, Chris, and Ray.I got my hands on some very thin orange acetate for the glass.I have some of that orange acetate in my stash as I use it for "gasser glass." Good stuff and it was made by a company called Midwest. I don't know if they're still in business or not though. The acetate sheets came in a variety of colors.
crazyjim Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Thanks Keith, Curtis, Ricky, Rick, and Troy. I've had several colors of acetate for years and don't remember where it came from. I know it started from a post of this forum from a guy who made shift & dash knobs by gluing acetate & styrene together.
PARTSMARTY Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 This is probably one of the absolute most impressive builds I've ever seen from you.I'm completely speechless seriously. The interior is without a doubt my favorite interior from you.The valve covers are too cool.Did you print the license plate decal.I have a special personal project coming up that it would fit perfectly. You are a true inspiration to me.Thank you sir.
crazyjim Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Thank you very much Marty.I print license plates on glossy photo paper after making them on Acme License Plate Maker. Here's the link http://acme.com/licensemaker/
randyc Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Doggone it - have to dig mine out now... Maybe some lesser tires/wheels though... or maybe not. NICE!
randyc Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I have no idea where mine is. 2 Moves and a divorce since I last saw it. I was initially put off by the box art, but things change and it is a wagon. Mine won't represent as nice a car as yours for certain. But maybe something close. Woodgrain AND a wagon - what's not to love?
crazyjim Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 Thanks Randy. It's an extremely nice kit. I think there's a couple versions of it out there.
