Me and Marcia trekked to the Florida National Cemetery Bushnell today to participate in Wreaths Across America. Thousands and thousands of people.  We laid 4 wreaths in one section and they ran out so we walked to another section and laid more wreaths until that trailer was empty.  then we walked to another section and laid a ton of wreaths.  Never had that happen before.  Of course, we don't just lay a wreath at a gravesite.  We lay the  wreath down gently, step back, say the person's name out loud, say thank you and Merry Christmas.  Being a Veteran, I render a hand salute.

It was a GREAT day!

That sounds like a dang fine day to me... I applaud you...

And also say thank you for your service

Don't applaud me, Jeremy. I'm just an old Veteran remembering our fallen.

I really appreciate your thank you.

There's some pics on my FB page.

We heard about a shortage on Fox News a couple weeks ago so helped out a bit. It must feel good to be a part of the laying of the wreaths. Your a good man and thanks for doing that.

Never heard about a shortage, but then I never watch/listen to Fox News or CNN.  I can't describe the feeling inside remembering fallen Veterans, Ray.  It just feels good.  This is the cemetery where our ashes will be buried - already approved by the VA.
