Hey Guys! whats up!!

busy week or two here.............

I finally started the restoration work on the Org issue 62 Impala Conv't last night and i can say i am pleased with it so far........

Once i looked the body over very carefully i then decided on how i was gona go about it,but did notice that the cowl area was gona need to be re-placed mainly because i wanted to keep the glass and interior tub tab's in place and the old one being a glue bomb i opt'ed for cuting it out.......

The donor body was double checked and decided it would be to much to restore it..........

Awhile back i did a rear section replace and decided thats the way i wanna go with this one as well (the lower Q/panels were in nice shape on the Org body to start with) and the other would take some work and this way i could keep the lower rocker trim intack..........

Hard to see in the pictures but the rear deck vent was also wasted on the body i wanted to fix.......

As you can see it has a good platform, also notice the putty work on the tulip panel area and why i am replacing the rear deck vent.
