What color sould be painted the under body (interior) of a late 60's-70's FunnyCar (fiberglass fliping) body: ext body color, black, gray shades? what was the most common under finish back then

I've seen gray, I've seen black. Guess it depends on the specific car. Try a google search for the specific car you're doing.

I recollect seeing raw fiberglass to any color Paint and even primer.. Most were flat In color..

so anything goes...
