Going on a cruise today

I'm in a hotel near Galveston. We stayed here last night in order to save trouble and time getting to the ship. Didn't want to leave Austin at 4am and hope traffic would cooperate. It's myself and my sister's family taking Mom on a cruise to the Caribbean. We wanted to do something nice for her birthday. It's the first cruise ever for Mom and I, but sis and her family have done this several times. It sounds like fun. They even have a bar with team trivia, which is something I really love. I used to do that every Wednesday night at a sports bar in Austin. Anyway- it all sounds like fun.

Full dislosure: a Jimmy Flintstone White 3000 COE resin cab showed up yesterday. I cleaned it up a bit and began cutting up a Galaxie Limited 21 foot trailer to make a long sleeper. The idea is for a toy hauler. It was all I could do to leave it on the work bench. I REALLY wanted to bring it along, if only for more cleanup and mocking up the sleeper. Model nerd and proud of it.
