Today I biult my own razor saw using an old razor blade handle and mini hacksaw blade

step 1 get mini hhacksaw blade and remove dowels it of each end

step 2 put hacksaw blade on razor blade handle

step 3 cut hacksaw blade down to the length wanted

step 4 cut stuff with new razor saw

it takes away about 1/2 of the material that the standard dremel cuting disk dose.

Good tip for rough cutting, definitely.

Only problem is that it's an awfully wide kerf for model work.

A Zona or X-acto razor-saw blade only leaves a .010" cut, and some of the PE blades are around .007".

Yup. And what you have here is a coping saw blade. Might work for VERY coarse cuts.
