1978 gmc (update July 24) painted

I just picked up the new Revell 1978 gmc. I will be lowering the suspension a bit so I can run smaller tires and I also have a revell gmc plow truck (it’s the same as the new one just with smaller tires and not lifted) I will be using some parts from it to make the new one a long box. I also am not a big fan of the small block engine that came in the kit so I will replace it with a 454 or biuld a 6.2 diesel for it.

I got the box and frame extended. I also found  a set of tires for it.

I got the frame and motor mocked up today. I still need to modified the rear driveshaft.

I decided to dig this project out of the box again and also biuld a trailer and square body mud truck.

I ended up using the other tires that I had for this on a different project but found a set of Playmobil toy tires. 

The mud truck is an old built model that Im redoing. I am using the lifted suspension from the big game country truck, some mega blocks tires and a 454.

A small update. I decided to biuld a flat deck.

It's coming along nicely, but I really liked the look of the pick up truck!

I got the truck and box painted. I Also built a winch bumper for it.
