I finally started My 55 Mild Kustom. I started last night... well, early in the morning.

This is what I stared with.

I got the passenger side trim removed.

I may not get it done in in the three days I have to get it done, because the weather is wet and humid. I'll keep you updated as I go.

Chassis ready to shoot

Started the engine assembly

Pics from me comming tomorrow. Primed my front fenders. Still have some filling to do. Also filled in the lines on the rear of the front fenders. Well found a second 50 cab maybe i will chop it maybe just use the unchopped one i have right no or order one. Love the 55 mild custom rob. Cant wait to see motor Cal. Well as rolling said to me that i have been hanging with kevin to much when i sugested making the wagon a hearse. Well kevin u know what u got me in. Gona build a 58 chevy ambulance or hearse. Still need 3 glue bombs 58 chevys. Well pics are coming tomorrow

It's time, for an update.

I was able to get some paint on the 55 last night. I was not able to get it as low as I wanted it, but I think it looks good as is.

I got some nasty runs on the hood, so I'm going to run it hoodless.

Since I'm going hoodless, I'm going with a blower on the 409.

It isn't as nice as some of the other builds in this, but I'm happy with it so far.

I've been working on mine.

I painted the window trim.

I'm working on the body, I have the headlights and grille installed and the blower on the engine.

I have to decide on which taillights to use. I like the one on the left, the chrome goes with the headlight bessels.

I sanded and resprayed the hood, I may cut a hole in it for the blower.

I'm still at it more updates later.

yes u may join in on the fun. Hey the more the better. I realy dont mind for people joinig except when almost everyone is done and then one person lastly joins in and tryes to finish in 2 days. So no problem.

Thanks. Blue, it almost killed me. FE's are kind of growing on me. I was a small block Ford guy. Built a stroker 351W out to 380 inches, J302s, 710 hp @ 7400rpm

Did ya watch the Rolex race yesterday? They broke another closest finish... Man did Brumos Porsche get robbed.

I just finished mine, a day earlier than I was suppose to. Added a set of Appleton's last minute. I cut a hole in the hood for the blower, after fixing the nasty paint. I went with the taillights with the chrome.

Dang rob. You just wooped us all. Sweet build. Man the 58 is sweet. Sure go ahead build it. I dont mind. Dont care at all. Man i cant wait to see that one. But u have to do oone thing, show us how you build it.

i have lost the front filler panel for the daytona charger

and well i guess im going to have to do body work on the viper

well i will start tomorrow after i get my dog checked out at the vet

Man nice start. So far everyone has actually gotten somethin done this weekend. I just didnt have the efford to do anythiung. Went out to work one it. Ended up just test glueing the frame to the fenders, glued the rear fenders to the bed sides with elmers glue. Also cut the tubes out of the grill and just will run the 2 headlights with maybe a custom center peice i dont know. Dang evil. I think somethin is up with you. First paint reacts on the viper, then u lose a peice to the daytona. I think this means you should build a custom lowrider

i was thinking that but 1:3 kits is pushing it and 2:rollinoldskool is here he would mop the floor with me in a lowrider build off
