Volksfan Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Hello everyone. I finished up ICM's 1911 Ford Touring car. It is a great kit that has great details but also has its few flaws. The paint is Tamiya lacquer and the model is out of the box. Since you're only able to build the model with the top up, I used the folded roof from the AMT T kit to replicate the roof so the interior is able to be seen better. Here is the completed car:
Eric Macleod Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I like it. It is definitely my kind of car. What did you find as flaws in the kit?
Little Timmy Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I love those "Early" Brass era car's. Your's is Beautiful !

bbowser Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 You've done a great job on this. I've built a couple and they are not easy kits to get together. Keep those brass cars coming
Classicgas Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Very nice. I would paint the tires and add a satin clear on them. I'm not a fan of unpainted plastic.
espo Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I don't recall seeing a Brass Era model for a long time. This is very well done and I like how you used the folded top from the AMT T.
