Kit Basher Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) Tamiya kit. The paint is a mix of Testors square bottle Green and Gloss Black. A very nice kit. Thanks for looking. Edited April 8, 2018 by Kit Basher
NOBLNG Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Nice job on the pin striping. Is that decals or painted on?

cobraman Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Nice job. I could never get into one of those cars.
89AKurt Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Looks great! I've had to mix for a proper BRG before. If I wasn't so obsessed about Ferraris, would get this kit too.

Kit Basher Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 Thanks, Bill! Thanks, Chris! Thanks, Dann! Thanks, Kurt! Thanks, Skip!
Jantrix Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I'd no idea there was even a kit of this. Terrific work.
vamach1 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Great job. Now if Tamiya can put an engine back there why can't we get a Pantera with an engine?
Kit Basher Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 Thanks, Fabrizio! Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Rex!
Snake45 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Very nice! And I've found you can mix up almost any shade of green you want from Testor square bottle green and black.
Curt Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 That’s a beautiful job on that Lotus, Hugh. I saw one of these on the road recently and I had forgotten just how low they are...

It was fun mixing the paint, I just kept adding black until I liked the color. I got lucky on the quantity, I had none left over.

Maybe I could have fit when I was 18... It was fun to watch it race, tho. Fast! Edited April 9, 2018 by Kit Basher
Dodge Driver Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Well done, Hugh. Your workmanship is exceptional throughout the Lotus.
