Slim Louis Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 This one could go almost anywhere, LMS as he won Saugus track championship several times, Darkside as he raced at Riverside twice in this car, finishing 24th & 35th? in 71 and 72, and Greyside as he raced it up till 74. Cut the top off and raced as a convertible, and raced on dirt, too. An amazing story about a driver who was paralyzed from the knees down! Revell kit, short trailing arm chassis, nearly stock, scratch cage, and my decals. Enjoy
Crazy Ed Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Slim - WOW There's a Driver whose Vehicle I would have never thought being built in Plastic. Tru was my Neighbor for a few years before my Family moved to Northern Calif in '67. He was Driving a Red '50 or '51 Chevy back then and considering going to Sportsmans Class from Novice. About a Month ago I had looked Tru up on Google. It was good to see he had done so well. You Build looks Very nice. Ed Erbeck Jr.
