Dann, that's coming along nicely!  You are using two putties, Milliput and Tamiya, I assume the first is for massive amounts, second for touch up?

Thanks, Bud!, you are right...Milliput for the big jobs, and Tamiya for little jobs like glazing.

Next step, grille is ready;

I also added loudspeaker mesh to the door panel as I would have wanted it. The original round cover does not appeal to me.

To do:

- door handle & lock

- Naca duct front right

- chassis frontend, engine compartement

- center console

- dashboard

- taillights

- thermoforming mould for all windows

Just wow!!
AMAZING!

I started with the dashboard. When finished, the chassis will be next to complete. Maybe I am ready with the CAD data by August.

Thanks, Bud!!.....looking forward to more of yours!!.....do you have any plans on selling any, or is this like mine....a one-off?....i was considering sending mine to a resin maker, but its just too much for me.

I think it will be a one-off. I fear the 3D printed parts will be quite expensive. Nobody (except me ? ) would pay so much for a model car. To do a resine kit is to effortful.

We will see...

I've been known to pay a TON for a model....especially one like this.....i think we will just have the only two, lol

Hey, everyone!, FINALLY got my PE saws in, and i will be able to get back to this soon. Remember how i said i was gonna SB the engine, then not, and now i've had something happen that tells me how to proceed....A Very good friend of mine gave me a kit that has the perfect motor. Is it the same motor that came in the car? -No.....is it an AMG motor?.....you bet...do i always build the way that its "suppose" to be? -almost never....this will be NO exception. I will change the engine from a V12, to......something smaller, but more powerful, and updated than the original, which means that the rear frame, and suspension May have to be different too -we will see as i move along. Thanks for following along, and thank YOU, Trevor, for this kit!
