89AKurt Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I have the green "full restoration" kit, which I assume is the same thing, so keeping an eye on this thread!

jchrisf Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Cool build.. I just saw Tom over at The Scalemodeling Channel do one of these a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing yours
jaxenro Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I usually don’t like Lamborghini’s too angular and modern looking but this one is an exception beautiful car

Lamborghini’s always seem like they are the kid shouting for attention. That being said, the Miura is in a class of its own; hands down the best Lamborghini ever.
Ich_Will Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Finally making this move forward. Primed.

Ich_Will Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 I had to take a break from the 500SL so I started the body color for the Miura. The bottom will be gold, but that’ll be a while til I’m at that point.
Nacho Z Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Looking good! Between you and Dann, you guys have me chomping at the bit to pick one of these kits up. I asked over on Dann's build, hope you don't mind if I ask here. Are all of the Hasegawa Miura kits, the one with the chassis number on the box, basically the same kit?

I’d assume they’re all very close but Dann probably has more knowledge of such things. This is my first Hasegawa kit ever.

Rider Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) I love seeing these cars built up. They look to be pretty good kits too. I always confuse these with the Jota. Good luck with the build. Edited September 10, 2018 by Rider
El Caballo Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Reminds me of the movie, "The Italian Job", the beginning scene of the movie where the mob guy is driving in the mountains to Matt Munroe's "Days Like These".

LOL....yes I do!, the Gold and green kits are exactly the same, other than each being molded in the box art kolors. The difference however, is between those two, and the original issue....the red one, which happens to have ALOT more decal choices, so if it were me, i'd get the red kit. -The first photo, is of the gold, and green kits....way less decal choices, the second is the original red kit.....my favorite! -all three still have the metal transfers though.
Ich_Will Posted October 7, 2018 Author Posted October 7, 2018 Slowly advancing the Miura. My semigloss black is a bit too gloss but besides you guys and me, no one will see the inside. This is a pretty cool kit. I’d be willing to do another one in the future.
