thomas LB808 Labanon Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Hey, guys here's an auction of interest. I have nothing to do with this auction. Just wanna see what happens. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...825471&rd=1
sdrodder Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 that is one awsome vet. I think i will go out and get a kit and make somethin like it.
CAL Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 I wonder what the reserve is. It would be worth more as a unmolested Corvette. The only thing it does have going for it is a little bit of history. I don't think it will go a lot higher than what it is. I know that there is 2 days left and most of the action happens at the end, but it's only gone up $300 in 4 days and still hasn't met the reserve. I suspect the guy selling think it's worth a whole lot more than it really is worth. But I could be wrong.

I'd Say it would fetch about $40-50 grand easy. But in this state Around $20-25 thousand. But then again with the resurgence of DRAG memorabilia. Anything with history is worth "GOLD".

It does have some history. It's not a terribly strong history though. Maybe 40-50K if it was complete, original, running and had a stronger history, maybe it would bring that much. If it wasn't going to be a lot of trouble and money finding all the bits and restoring it someone would have by now. Buying it is one thing restoring would probably be another small fortune. Apparently the engine and moon tank is worth more to the guy selling than the rest of it. Seems odd to seperate and keep the motor and sell off the body it unless there is something wrong with the car - like it's not worth much would be my guess. Edited August 8, 2008 by CAL

LOL,yup just a brief history (more like a side note). Not the old. Brothers, uncle's,father's.friend, knew the guy would had owned it. But for what it is it's really a sweet looking thing. Can't wait till it ends. I sure hope it sells for the seller's sake.LOL
