Now I know what to do with all my old Old Milwaukee cans... ;)

I'm going to dig through my boxes after dinner to find a candidate.

Something will come up but it has to be B.A.M. ( Big American Metal )!

Put in a long day at the workbench and got a lot done. This sucker needs to rest over night to dry real well, and then I can hit it up with my usual lotions, potions, and powders . . . it's almost done. Enjoy some of the pics.

Well I'm going to have to postpone my pick. I can't find the car I want to do. ;)

I found some candidates, but they're not #1. I did have some luck in finding some models I can use for parts. Plus I found some "... cool, when did I get that... stuff??".

There is a KB outlet about five miles from me, I'll hit them tomorrow after work.

After seeing Cranky's #2 build choice, I am wondering if speed and agility might work better than brawn.?

It's an etched skull that comes in a Warhammer 40K basing kit . . . All I did was simply flow white paint over the relief skull . . . pretty darn easy.

Thanks, amigo! I'm in the process of adding some more weathering to this sucker, and it is almost done. I will post pictures as soon as I get some more taken.

Stay tuned in . . . these kinds of builds are just pure fun!!!

You must be retired to have this much time (and you live in Florida)....

You know Verg.... I never liked the later "Road Warrior" movies or "Death Race" due to the need for vast doses of suspension of disbelief...

However, your build, if taken in small doses looks great and you have provided a lot of neat ideas in this thread for my other projects! I think I will be coming back from time to time.

Although I doubt that I will ever build one of these road-tanks... the ideas are useful for Rat-Rods and other weathered projects.

Thanks!

Glad you like it, J. It means a lot to me . . . and you are right, most of these types of vehicles are a leap of faith, but boy are they fun. You are also right that a lot of these elements and techniques can be carried over to the Rat Rod world.

The idea is to keep building and having fun--I mean, what else is there, right?

Well I'm dedicated now.... Just dropped $68 at the LHS for sheet styrene, tubes, metal screen... all that and I forgot the rubber cement and a new tube of glue. Good thing there's a Michaels close to the house. ;)

I think it would have been cheaper to buy a tank model and re-use all the weapons from that.
