Berk765 Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Finished yesterday, started five years ago. AMT body on a Polar Lights Talladega Ford half-chassis. What kind of engine did you put in it?
Slim Louis Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Since this was started five years ago, I didn't keep WIP pictures, (no camera or computer) and I didn't wire engines yet, back then. When I glued the front bumper back on yesterday, I realized," this is it, this sucker ain't comin' off no more" So this picture of the motor is the best I have for now. If the bumper ever falls off I'll post naked frame pictures, but until then, don't hold your breath! It's a 427, either from the Polar Lights kit or an AMT 66 Fairlane, don't quite remember.
62SS Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Another fantastic build Slim. Do you ever have one that dont turn out just right?hahaha Your builds are all "Top Shelf" Super job. Ed
Slim Louis Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 (edited) Yws, Ed, I do have a few that don't turn out right, this one is a good example, thats why it was started and sat on the shelf for five years! I hvave several more like that that I'm finding inspiration for, one's a 64 Fairlane "Thunderbolt" kit I'm building as a short tracker. Sometimes you just need five years to "see the light! lol Edited August 15, 2008 by Slim Louis
