Hello,

There is a missing link in my conversion of the '32 Chrysler into a '33 Imperial Pace Car: The wheels.

The Pace Car used chrome "Artillery wheels" but the kit has wire wheels.

Here is another look at those wheels.

Several modelers are helping me search but no luck so far.

Any idea or suggestion where to look or where to start?

Those look more like wooden spoke wheels of that era than artillery wheels, but it's hard to really see them good.

Hey Izzy, why don't you check out this Mail-order business and look under artillery models. Might take a little modification, but consider the source (artillery wheels).

Because they are the wrong scale.

Scale is only relative, I've used 1/18th scale wheels on 1/25th scale semi-trucks models..... :angry:

Hey Izzy,got this e-Mail from a On-line Diecast Business that is currently doing an End of Summer Sale and I found this vehicle whilst I as perusing their catalog. Are these wheels pretty close to what your Looking for, i's 1/24th scale.....
