Well, the meds and the butter pecan ice cream is kicking in so I'll leave you with this last one for the night.

With all the buzz from the new "Double Thunder" kit series comes the announcement of the first all new tooling in the series. While the '39 Ford Modified-Sportsman, a mild warm over of the '40 that has been around since the early '60's, has few surprises in the parts count, the dirt track late model is the first totally new tool for a short track car since the ground breaking ASA kits from Revell over fifteen years ago.

Based on the "wedge" style late models this new kit is a winner from the get go. New body panels, tires, chassis and roll cage compliments the plumbing and wiring included in this impessive kit. Set the wedge and stagger and get out of the way.

Special thanks to Gator, owner of Jackie Sims Race Cars, for the preproduction boxart models and the help with the research and liason with the teams during the research phase of this project. If ya' can't sling'em, don't bring'em. Welcome to the rock'em, sock'em, sideways, travelin' dirt show!
