Title editing

How do I edit a title on a post fro update purposes. When I go to edit post I can edit everything but the title.

Titles can be edited right from the regular edit screen....................BUT, there is a time limit on all post edits. I believe you only have three days from the start of a thread to do any editing. And that includes both content and the title.

So, to re-ask the initial question, "How can a title be edited"?  If I have a trade or wanted post that has been completed, how do I annotate "Found" in the title?

Go to your original post and hit "Edit". You should be able to edit the original title from there since it's your initial post. If after three days however, that option goes away. If that happens, I'd just make a comment in your thread and mention it was found.

Besides a note in post also use report button with a notation that the post may be deleted by the mods.

For trades, just report the post to the mods as a trade completed. We’ll make the post go away.
