littlfron Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Hi , this model was built in 1968/69 in Torino ( Italy ) factory of Pocher . Then was display in the French Capital famous toy shop ( Gallerie Prinptemps Haussman ) , the grandmother of the person I bought it , told me it stay in the family shelf of at least 4 decades . It was an original model with the fender , basic red, if you are expert you will notice the display case identical as some pictures of the line production at the time in Torino on some Pocher website telling the history of the company. bought it in 2016 , brought it back in Dubai , and dismantle it , first time I was doing a model ( and a Pocher not a easy task at all for a beginner. ) luckily it was built buy the factory , so the quality of built was quite good. proof it was still standing straight ( except the wheels, , heavy to support) after 50 years . I decided to to the model on a more racing mode , without the fender , and front lights, and painting it in the dark red of Alpha Romeo at that time , ( a Mr .Enzo was a test pilot on those beauty ), Ferrari was the sport department of Alpha Romeo , who will became later the Scuderia . - grey primer was first then I repainted it with Tamiya spray can . - dashboard and floor cabin in Aluminium . - upgrade with black leather seat . - steering wheels upgrade from modelmotorcars. Hope you enjoy this little peace of history . John Edited May 7, 2019 by littlfron

r60man Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Two Questions: 1. What is the scale? Seems bigger than 1:24 to my eye. 2. It seems to have some metal pieces as well, diecast and plastic?
