espo Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Very clean build and great paint work. I have always thought these Alfa's were an interesting car. Looks nice without the bumpers.
Silver Foxx Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Great build , nice foil work , I like the wheels .
Harpo Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Paint is superb, is there a build thread with finish details?
Tommy124 Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Great model! I wasn't sure about the "bumper pinholes" first but they are correct!
Perspective Customs Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I love these old Alfas. Very nicely done.
MrObsessive Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Wow! Good looking car! Perfect stance! Bumperless is a nice touch too............looks better without 'em!

The paint is Tamiya racing blue TS51 with 2k clear over the top thinned with mr levelling thinner. No polishing compounds used apart from a couple of areas of minor scratches caused during the foiling process. Edited May 13, 2019 by Michael jones
sjordan2 Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Terrific job. I had a 66 GT Sprint Veloce. Did the kit start out as a GTA? They typically had modified wide fenders.
Michael jones Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Gidday, its the Tamiya kit. I just removed the bumpers, added some Asuka wheels and some other minor details. I think there is a Gunze Sangyo Alfa kit which has the wide fenders etc. Would be a good kit to build I reckon.
Justin Porter Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Very fun approach to the Tamiya Alfa. It's one of those "you have to try this out!" kits that drops together really sweetly.
