landman Posted June 2, 2019 Author Posted June 2, 2019 Proceeding with the final assembly. One needs about 13 hands.
Anglia105E Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 You have certainly got your hands full there, Pat..... that build of the Lincoln is a real challenge by the look of it. You are doing a fine job on the white wall tyres and the assembly of the bodywork. This is a job where those little plastic clamps come in very handy! I am sure this will be a really nice 1948 Lincoln when you've done, and it will be worth the effort. David

I'm not sure but it looks sort of out of proportion to me. Of course that wasn't m y fault, only the bad paint and the smudges are.
Sledsel Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Personally, I think it is looking pretty darn good. I was working on one of these but shelved it for a bit. Not because of frustration, but other ideas for builds pop in my head and off I go. I assembled the body first an it fits together well as a one piece body although the assembly was tricky. Can't wait to see it done.

landman Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Things were going along nicely. I had installed the windshield. then I looked at a picture of an actual car. Lo and behold the frame is painted not chromed. So into the pond it went.
randyc Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 You did a heckuva job with it. Everytime I open one of those, I look around it, with all kinds of ideas and ambition. Then teh reality of hte kit sets in and sucks all my ambition and part of my soul out. I am happy to report I do not own any of these anymore. No more soul suckers!!!! LOL But you did make a nice build! Congrats on finishing.
