lizardlust Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 It looks like it just came off a trail from the Ocala National Forest - you have definitely depicted the weekend warrior in scale!!!
RodneyBad Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Looks like you really took it off-road. Nice job, ya gotta love those Super Swampers for getting ya back home.. I'll keep mine on Road
James Flowers Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Great looking mud work. Looks like something my son and his buddies come home in, after playing in the mud.
gary westervelt Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 If that was red & white it would look identical to the one my brother had in the 80s.The weathering on this really sets it off IMO.

ModelKing Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 it is part of the gone fishing set from revell with a sratch built suspension and tires from the hi lift toyota and rimes from a jeep kit.i weathered with a tamiya mud pin(great stuff)and watered down acrylics. BTW it also has a tool box and hard hats in the back from the model king blazer. i built this to look like my 1.1 i just got rid of. thank you all for the kind words.
abedooley Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Do you have any in-progress pics?? I looked at your Photobucket page and I am impressed with your skills! That scratchbuilt camper is awesome! Even your wife has great skills! The Bronco, the lifted Ford, ALL AWESOME BUILDS!!! Do you have the lifted Ford in here anywhere?? You nailed it with the hitch on the Ford! You sound like the kinda guy I would run with here at home!
