crazyjim Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 (edited) Here's my '50 Olds in Tru-Color medium cabernet. Mostly out of the box except for the taillights peaks on the roof and trunk lid. Edited August 25, 2019 by crazyjim
espo Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Very nice day two looking build. I like how you detailed the engine and the fuel lines remind me of the way it was done so long ago.
crazyjim Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 (edited) Thank you David. made a mistake in the title. It's a 1950 Olds. I dodn't know how to correct. Aha. Fixed it. Edited August 25, 2019 by crazyjim
Rider Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Nice work in the engine bay, I like the flake too.
BeakDoc Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Sweet looking Olds, Jim! Nice detailing on the interior and under the hood. And man, does that color take on a whole new identity under the sunlight!!
crazyjim Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 Thank you Curtis, Lee, Ray, Chris, Al, and Anders.
Shambles Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Impressive build, Jim. Citrus Springs ain't far from me... I'm in The Villages. Does your model club have a website?
crazyjim Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 Not only a website, but we have a meeting every month at the Hobby Lobby in Ocala, do the model car conest at the Ocala Billetproof show, and we also have a member who lives in the Villages. Here's our website http://fast.cybrarygoddess.com/
Wm David Green Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Cool, great model. Still thinking what color I should use on mine.
randyc Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 I just opened one of these last night. Looking forward to getting something done on it. Mine may be GRAY, of all colors. Two tone. I have NO gray cars in my collection. So maybe it's time. Gray body, darker gray metallic top? Not sure yet, but this is a nice one to see as I get started on it. Good work, thanks for posting.
