Finally got this finished.  It fought me the whole way. I painted it twice, applied the decals twice, the whitewalls twice.   I like the way it turned out, its good from a distance, but i am not happy with the wheels and tires.  I love the engine bay, though.   Also very happy with the interior, its one of my best.

Looks great to me. You're right about the interior and the engine bay, they both look good. I also like the paint color and finish. These were under appreciated cars when new. The OHC 6 could be had with everything from a fuel sipping single carb. running on regular gas too a premium fuel big cam'd Quadra Jet carb. and a 3-speed or a 4-speed and the TH350 auto.

Looks great. I actually owned a 1967 Firebird with the overhead cam 6. It had a 4 barrel carb with spit headers from the factory. For a 6, that car could move.

Thanks for the compliments.   It felt good just to finish it up.

I had that engine from the MPC kit about 20 years ago, and built it before I had anything to put in, just because I thought it was neat.  Turned out really nice with some detailing!

You're right, the interior and engine bay look great. The paint looks good too, excellent color choice.

I'd be proud to put it in my display case. It was well worth the effort.
