crazyjim Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 I think it's a '68. Finished in HOK meteor maroon II pearl with Nason 2k clear. Rear side windows/scoops were filled and that's about it for modifications.
Oldschool4x4 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 That looks mighty good. Just one thing, you have your distributor and rad hose in each others location...
Speedfreak Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Very cool Jim. Where did you get those plug wires?
crazyjim Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 Thank you Robert, Ray, and Gene. I thought the distributor went off to the side so that's where it went. The plug wires are from Crazy Scale Auto Parts (my little business).
webestang Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Looks great....love that color!!! And yep, 1968.
espo Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Nice clean looking build. I like the ram air hood also.
vamach1 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 (edited) Super nice paint and nice interior detail. Some black wash in the grille and wheels and she will look even better. I like the clean look of not having the upper and lower scoops too. Edited October 19, 2019 by vamach1
crazyjim Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 Thank you Rex, Guido, and Larry. I did the grille wash after the pics. SHINY ??? RULES!
vamach1 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Quick question. Are the guages painted or is it a decal or paper cut out?
crazyjim Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 Painted. White grease pencil to highlight. Modge Podge clear.
Hmann68 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Beautiful mustang Jim! Gotta love those fastbacks!
ewetwo Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 (edited) I rebuilt one of these a while back. I thought is was a bit finicky. I had to raise the rear suspension to make it work. Nice build and love the color. Edited October 21, 2019 by ewetwo
