I don't believe one speck of that.

I can tell you personally the part about model manufactures working with and, providing needed kits to resin casters is in fact true. As has states for every trans kit a caster sells, they need to buy the donor kit as well. Its a common sense approach that benefits all parties involved.

Don't really want to wade in on this, other than to say what Tom said above about cooperation and support between some of the kitmakers and some of the resin casters is spot-on accurate and true, and yes I have personal knowledge that confirms this, just as Kris Morgan does as well.

So, with all the knowledge of resin 58 Chevy's, can anybody tell who cast the 4dr wagon?

It's no doubt a rough casting, but I can work with it.

I like it. I don't know who cast it. But why is it so swirly?

In my experience, when 2 part epoxies and resins are not mixed thoroughly, you get inconsistent moldings. And some parts are solid while other parts never harden, remain forever sticky or even shrink.

I'd be reluctant to buy and build something that looks like this, for fear that all my efforts will be wasted.

Is this a completely cured piece?

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

My friend that casts, experienced this when his material was shipped during the winter and must have had a prolonged stop along the way. It works out just fine.

It looks like 1980s resin. That’s what a lot of early pieces looked like.

Yes, it's completely cured. I actually have two of these body's. But about this same quality. No doubt they came out of the same mold.

I too was hesitant to buy, but I paid $5 for the first one and $15 shipped for the second one. So a total of $20 spent.
