crazyjim Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Here's a '37 Chevy in HOK magenta II pearl. Frenched the taillights and license plate and also put a strip of plastic on the lower edge to fill area of the former running boads. Big block Chevy engine is wored & plumbed.
alan barton Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 You never see this model built! I have two but unstarted to this day! Nice to see how you approached yours, i especially like that smooth red paint. Cheers Alan
crazyjim Posted November 9, 2019 Author Posted November 9, 2019 Thank you Carl, Ray, Alan, and David.
Sixties Sam Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Very nice, Jim! Great color, and well done! Be careful with those pipes on speed bumps! Sam
BeakDoc Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Gnarly exhaust. It looks loud! Great hot rod.
Johnt671 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I like it. Don't see too many old Chevy's built.
crazyjim Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 Thank you John. I think there's only the '37 Chevy and a '39 kit out there.
Dave Ambrose Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Very nice. What’s the significance of the military ribbon in the license plate?
crazyjim Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 Thank you Dave. That's the Vietnam Service Medal. I use it on all my builds because I'm a Vietnam Veteran.
