Here is a picture and story about Ferrari's pit light that failed them on Masa's stop. F1 definitely has the best toys in racing.

"What a mess they made. The traffic light system is a beautiful bit of work which is normally auto-operated by the movements of the fuel hose. Excellent thinking and application of clever ideas. But, either on auto or operated by the human hand(as at Felipe's stop), it seems a step too far and an example of a Formula one team getting too clever for their own good. From what I could tell, it is going to be scrapped either by Ferrari or the FIA. As you can see from these pics(taken at Singapore on Friday night) the unit itself is a thing of beauty(streamlined, carbon etc). Pity that henceforth, it is likely only to be seen in a museum."

Domenicali said they were going to continue using it. They say when it works it saves .300 sec. FIA might have something else to say about though after now twice it failed and knocked down crew members and caused another unsafe moment.

Everyone is expected to jump on the bandwagon as soon as Ferrari has perfected it.

Looks like a flippen UFO.

There is also a lot of crying about the SC and the pit lane being closed from all the teams. FIA said that they would be reviewing that over the off season.

Yup something to look forward too.

I am not sure what the problem is over at Ferrari, but the looked like amatures and clowns and the are 15 for 15 in screwing up one or both of their drivers race results. :D It's looks like the good ole days when they were the worst team in F1. It could be very well they handed both WCC and WDC titles to McLaren.

Nooo!!! Not back to the Alesi/Barnard days. I did see Todt in the paddock at Singapore. It must of been gut wrenching for him. It sure was for me. Although, I think that Kimi and Massa are way better than Alesi ever was, and without the severe ego problem too. I rooted for Gerhard during that era.

I don't think the tifosi, me included, are going to stand for a repeat of the lean years.

Thanks for the Petite Lm info Cal. Looks like a ###### good line up!

Cheers,

Greg
