1964 Ford Galaxie Tear drop hood

Planning to build Mike Scmitt`s 1964 Ford Galaxie Super Stock drag car. I don`t have a tear drop hood. I checked Slixx and they make one. Anyone else?

Here's the one I still offer............will work with both the '63 and '64 Galaxie kits.

It shoud as the hood is one of the few parts that are the same for both years on the real cars.

Drag City Casting I believe makes a wide array of tear drop hoods.

I’ve used several resin hoods on my Galaxies, and recently I’ve noticed all are a bit out of shape. From now on, I’m going to just graft a resin scoop onto the plastic hoods.

I have quite a few of Ed's (krassandbernie) hoods. I like them and the castings are very nice.

To answer your question ....Yes.....go to Car aftermarket /resin forum...then aftermarket directory. ..this vendor ...http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STARModels.html.

Steve has quite a few various vacuum formed hood scoops & at least 3 different tear drops styles ...here's the one I prefer.
