Remaking a set of handlebars for the MPC Mail Box trike from metal.  Not done yet, but I was stuck on the main bars but made some progress this week:

Tonight I finished doing the basic clean up of this 59 Buick. Lots of road rash on it. I'll prime it in the morning to see where I'm at.

I also started scratch uildi g the nose of this 62 Pontiac. Still got a bit to do on it too.

Later-

So I threw a coat of primer on so I could see what I am doing. I already know it will be white, way to rough for any other color.

Huge improvement from where you started - Bravo, Sam!

I managed to get the body mated to the chassis on the AMT 1/16 T-Bird I am working on. I also was able to get some paint on my Monogram Shelby Cobra.

The display case is complete! I doubled my capacity by adding three levels, nine new pieces of glass in all. I covered the mirror back with bulletin board paper.

The mirror reflected the entire room and it was impossible to take photos without being in them.  I still need to remove and maybe paint the bottom doors since the laminate went bad.

I’m glad to be done! I wanted to do it for a long time!

Thanks Sam! After two cases I have a bit of experience and would be happy to add your shelves if it wasn’t such a long ride!

What is the backstory on that partially tipped glass?  Reminds me of the "Mystery Spot" in the UP that Dad took us to when we were little kids!

It is a whiskey tumbler.  The point fits between your ring and middle finger which allows you to palm the glass comfortably.  It was a gift from all my kids for our last anniversary. (My wife received a new camera strap) Thanks to the stimulus check, I splurged for a good bottle of Irish whiskey. That may, or may not, have stimulated the creativity.

Steve, the 442 interior is stunning.

Thanks guys!

I must have done something right with that interior.

It did manage to win the "Best Overall Interior" award at the Desert Scale Classic show in 2020.

You got the better gift. I suppose it also allows you to see if you over served yourself.

Got a burst of energy and poured/potted a couple new rubber molds a few hours ago - one with wheelcovers for the Jo-Han '57 Plymouth and AMT original issue '67 Impala SS, and the other with Revell '62 Plymouth headlight lenses, portholes for the '61 Buick Special wagon, taillight bezels for the AMT '65 El Camino/Chevelle wagon (missing from those kits since the mid-'70s; I already molded the lenses) and the radiator wall from Snake's '69 Buick Wildcat to put a copy in my '70. That kit's a curbside but the '69 chassis, engine, and underhood goodies will fit.

Although I need to get the back wall finished, the Spray room is now up and running, I'll be cracking on with my airbrushing in the next few days.

I finally got the 65 Chevy cab to sit all the way down on the frame. Little filing there, sanding a bit, trimming a piece or two. Finally went together enough for me to glue it and the bed on.

Sure is bright! ?

Need  ? for that pic. You need to warn a guy.

Well, here is another one that found its way to the bench. The chassis has been finished for about 10 years. Now to build the engine while the paint cures out.

Oh, and talk about squirrels...
