SfanGoch
A ten second toasting would be sufficient to decontaminate. Any longer, baste yourself with some barbecue sauce and roll around until done.

As of March 11th, the CDC was reporting 1,629 cases of COVID-19 in the the US with 41 total deaths associated with it . My little town in west central Minnesota has just over 2.000 residents. More than all of the reported cases so far in a country of 328 million people. There are likely more than 41 people living within a 2 block radius of me. Those are the facts at this time. Everything else is speculation. There will likely be more cases as testing ramps up, but for the time being, this is where we stand. Steve That was March 11th, that was 5 days ago. Now the confirmed cases are 3,774, with 823 of them being the past 24 HOURS. Deaths have creeped up to 69. It doubled again in less than 5 days...of the people who have been tested - which is in reality hardly anyone.

The scramble is on to get in touch with all the patients and healthcare workers they were in contact with. Edited March 16, 2020 by Pete J. That's why I'm thrilled not to be in retail any more. Who knows what could be walking in those doors as it is, let along hitching a ride in! One thing that was unexpected at first though is that at work our lunches are being cut to 30 min from 60 and going to Mandatory OverTime, so it should be 2.5 hours if time and a half per week until this is over or we have to shut Customer Service down because of this! Imagine how happy I suddenly am that I was laid off first of February! I've been in self-quarantine for six weeks now, and loving every minute of it. Ace-Garageguy
I just got in from a cross-country flight. Half the plane was empty, but one Asian-looking girl was wearing a mask. Now I have the sniffles. I guess I'm infected and going to die. But before I do, I'm going to the store to buy every roll of toilet paper they have, and then come home, set my hair on fire, and run in circles. From what I can tell on the interdwerbs, that seems to be the correct strategy. PS: Anyone who read this comment should go was his hands now. Can't be too careful. SfanGoch
Ever hear the expression, "When a bird poops on your head, it's a sign of good luck?" I'd rather get kneecapped with a 3/4" pipe, thank you.
