Ian McLaren Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 Update: engine in, fuel system and injector plumbed, throttle cable in, Headers extended (they were too short) and mounted, back to the body and decals
Codi Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Great paint Ian, any pics with the body off or propped up? cheers, tim
Ian McLaren Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 Please note this is just a mock up The paint is still in progress the paint hasn't been cleared or polished and the chassis still need quite a bit of work. but people have been asking for a body up shot. still needs decals and I'm in the process of building the windshield and injector dog house.
John Verkerk Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! I'll be watching ," love Vega's "!!
GoatGuy Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 This is a really cool build Ian. Can't wait to see more of it. I always like seeing different drag cars.
Straightliner59 Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Cool! That paint looks familiar. Is that an Alberta car? Seems like I might have seen Vern Scholz post pictures of it.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Nice paint scheme Ian! A lot of masking tape (and cutting) in the process has been certainly necessary to achieve this! Cool build so far and it will be easily recognizable among others at the next model car show. Great job sir!!!
