Just out of the spray booth, needs touch ups, first clear coat and polishing.  Custom decals underway in GIMP, next finish driveline and install scratch built tin and fit windshield

Update: engine in, fuel system and injector plumbed, throttle cable in, Headers extended (they were too short) and mounted, back to the body and decalsIMG_1691.JPG.ec3d090f27db9e89c47bf41805d9ab36.JPG

Please note this is just a mock up The paint is still in progress the paint hasn't been cleared or polished and the chassis still need quite a bit of work. but people have been asking for a body up shot. still needs decals and I'm in the process of building the windshield and injector dog house.

Nice paint scheme Ian!  A lot of masking tape (and cutting) in the process has been certainly necessary to achieve this!

Cool build so far and it will be easily recognizable among others at the next model car show.  Great job sir!!!

Yes it is   The car was called Banzai and was owned and driven by Brian Louw .  Ran  in the 70s as a BB/FC in Division Six  (Pacific NW ) Alberta, BC, Washington and Montana primarily.

I thought so! I grew up, just south of the border. South of Lethbridge.
