Ace-Garageguy Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Good lord. How do you come up with these ugly things? I had no idea stuff like this ever actually got built. I kinda feel bad calling the poor little guy ugly, but damm man... I guess this one could kinda grow on you after a while, sorta like a 3-legged puppy with two heads might. Quote

Suicide doors and smokin like a two stroke! Do you have a website dedicated to orphaned cars? Quote
Bucky Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 There sure are some wacky looking rides in this ol' world! Quote
DonW Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 No thanks, I'm in a hurry. I'll take the rickshaw. Quote
peteski Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 What a sad "face". Looks like it was just scolded, and it's on the way to stand in a corner. Why do designers come up with such sad looking cars. Who wants to buy a pouting car? Happy looking cars sell better! Quote
carsntrucks4you Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 Guys i have no special side or source where I found odd, ugly and cars. I have my sources ??? Quote
matthijsgrit Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 I gave up and cheated... Would've never guessed it, although in hindsight there are more clues then I expected... Good luck! Quote
ChrisR Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 I give up! Looks like a distant cousin of the old Subaru. Quote
carsntrucks4you Posted May 16, 2020 Author Posted May 16, 2020 (edited) This weeks car is a Norwegian 1956 Troll 700. This car was build by Troll Plastik Bilindustri from 1956 - 1958. Body is glass fibre on a Gutbrod chassis with a 700 ccm 22 hp engine. The car hadn't a good start into production because they were allowed to build only 15 cars. The reason wasn't the design of the car as you think. No it was a barter treaty Norway had with the USSR and Eastern Europe to buy cars from them as they bought fish products from Norway. After 5 cars they went bankrupt and a Norwegian car was history. The correct answer were sent in by: porschercr Bucky dw1603 Congratulations Edited May 16, 2020 by carsntrucks4you Quote
