I bought this at a flea market a while ago for 50 cents.

It was brush painted, Missing parts, and had glue everywhere.

I stripped it with CSC and painted it with Testors gloss Yellow and added some BMF.

Interior has been stripped and repainted semi gloss black and flocked.

All of the missing parts were found in my parts box or at model shows.

It's not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good for a glue bomb resto.

I'm not sure what year it is but I think its a 75 or 76.

If my thinking is correct, what you have is the MPC 1975 Corvette Convertible. It looks like one I had a while back.

It might be an earlier version of the kit than the pic I found on eBay though.

Nice save!

That's technically a '75 as there were no convertibles in '76. However, MPC did a'76 convertible.
