Modlbldr Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Just finished this one up today. Fun build with quite a few modifications, yet the look is pretty stock. Not usually a subject for customizers but I think it looks pretty good. May do another one soon with a chopped top, fender skirts and even lower suspension. Later-
espo Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 I have never seen one of these in 1:1 that even look close to this good. I watched as you tackled getting the front end together and modifying the engine and interior. Great looking paint finish and all the trim is cleanly done.
Koellefornia Kid Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Turned out great, Tom! Very nice mild custom!
David G. Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 That came out really nice. When I built mine I had some issues with getting the body to settle properly over the completed chassis. It ended up about 2 mm high in the back. It looks like you got yours to work out well though. David G.
Modlbldr Posted June 6, 2020 Author Posted June 6, 2020 Thank you very much everyone. I appreciate all of the fine comments. Later-
Sam I Am Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 I love these cars Tom, and this is probably the best one I have ever seen. I like it so much it hurts. ???
Plowboy Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 That's a really nice looking mild custom Tom! It's not easy to take an ugly car and turn it into something cool. But, you pulled it off! The color, wheels and tires suits it perfect!
Tom Geiger Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Love the color and paint work! I have a few of these purchased for the flatty sixes, I should actually build one!
Modlbldr Posted June 17, 2020 Author Posted June 17, 2020 Thanks guys! I really like how this one turned out. Later-
