I can't wait to see the movie! ?

I have no desire to see the movie. I just watched 7 hours of the real people. What could a movie with actors possibly add to the story?

I watched that documentary and like many, I was conflicted... I always try to find the victim, the villain, and the good guy... I struggled throughout to find the good guy or the victim. (other than the animals)

It's a tragic tale of immoral, licentious human behavior, wasted youth, and back stabbing.

It only proves how ruthless and vindictive human beings can be... I can't wait to see the movie! ?

None of those people are fit to run a Zoo or any business for that matter (IMO).

In a twist... I heard Carol Baskins finally ended up with ownership of the Zoo... She was qouted saying that she would close it down.

Never saw such a collection of misfits and losers in my entire life!

I don't believe that there was a single individual featured in that entire series that had any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Probably why it was such a success.

It was a complete train wreck from start to finish.

Yeah I understand that... The fact is we'll probably never know the truth. So why not throw in Hollywood's take on the story for pointless entertainment...

I read the book Heist! about the 1997 Loomis Fargo robbery... I liked the story and the dumb criminals involved, very entertaining... the movie Masterminds was the Hollywood adaptation of that book. I liked the movie but it was far more comedic than the book. The book was dark and merly left me wondering how stupid that many people could be. ? Also I thought man, If you could've stumbled upon that abandoned Armor car with 2.5 million worth of fives, tens, and twenties... untraceable, as a third party, someone with no involvement in the crime, would've been rich... if you were smart. They didn't recover the truck for a week after the robbery.

The general consensus! I concurr! ?

It's almost unbelievable that these type of people exsist, if you've never associated yourself with them in real life... kinda like mythical characters.

You need to watch more of the ID Channel!

A recent story involved a woman who wanted her husband dead.  She got her boyfriend to do the job, since he was a weapons instructor and bragged about being a professional hit-man.

She bought him a burner phone, knowing those can't be traced.  Unless you get your burner phone at Best Buy, where all purchases are videotaped. So the cops got nice, clear video of her buying the Secret Burner Phone.

Boyfriend lured husband to a remote place and laid in wait for him to show up.  While waiting, he needed a bowel movement.  So he left a big, steaming pile of DNA at the crime scene.  Guess they don't teach that in Professional Hit-Man School.

He did the shoot the husband, but not fatally.  Hubby lived to testify in court against both of these idiots.  Here's one story about the case:

Just finished the Netflix original 10 part series “Unsolved”, focusing on the 20 year span of investigations into still officially unsolved murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., which also opened the floodgates in uncovering the LAPD Rampart division corruption scandal. It is an amazingly produced, perfectly cast and very well structured show with multiple timelines that cover pretty much every aspect of this fairly complex true crime case in mindblowing detail. Recommended!

Kind of gave up on Netflix for a while, got into Discovery Channel. Watched the last two seasons of Street Outlaws and then all four seasons of Memphis Street Outlaws. Then got into Mythbusters and watched about a dozen selected episodes of that. Also found Penn & Teller Tell a Lie and have seen two or three of those.

Today I saw the first episode of HBO's Three Days Later. Very weird, unusual, and interesting. Can't wait to see where that goes.

I see a new season of Fargo is about to start on FX if it hasn't already. This season stars Chris Rock as some kind of gangster, which should be WAY interesting.

There are a couple of shows I have gotten into. Designated Survivor is actually pretty good. The HUD director unexpectedly becomes president after the government is wiped out in an attack during the S.O.T.U. address. It touches upon a lot of political topics of today. Currently waiting for season three.

The 100. The earth is ravaged by nuclear war and humanity is on the brink of annihilation. They send a group of kids down to earth to see if it is habitable again after 97 years of being in space onboard an ark made of stations of different nations.

Challenger: the final flight. This was emotional at times. A documentary about the rise of the shuttle program, the seven astronauts and their stories, and the ultimate demise of the Challenger. It goes into detail about the investigation. Very well done and I highly recommend it.

I watched this when it was originally on ABC TV a few years ago. It wasn't too bad at all--at least as good as the highly-praised, silly-ass Scandal. Ran two seasons and then it was cancelled. Has it been picked up by another network?

The 3rd and final season was picked up by Netflix last year.  Was pretty good.

I didn't know it was canceled. That's a bummer. I actually quite liked the show.

After what Netflix is peddling  now you couldn't pay me to get it or watch anything on it. Nothing but cp.

I cancelled Netflix after a recent movie just went too far. If any of you care about right and wrong you'd be with me. I suggest you look into it.

French documentary about young girls who want to be dancers. Kind of Dance Moms gone bad. The dancing in the clip I saw was close to being sexually explicit. One report I read said their was brief nudity in the film.

Oh... Cuties I reckon? I have just now read up about it. I did also notice it on my Netflix list, but it didn't look interesting to me so I never gave it a look. Seems like a lot of people are being judgmental without giving it a chance though, based only on what they read on the internet. That said, I will probably not watch it simply because I am not interested in the subject matter. I do, however, suspect it might be popular among the female population, especially the younger demographic. Each to their own I suppose, and thanks for the explanation. Kind regards.

This film doesn't need a "chance". It needs to be removed PERIOD.

I meant nothing by my comment and apologize if it came across wrong.

As I mentioned, I have not seen the film and probably never will, and I certainly respect your opinion as someone who has seen it and knows what he is saying. Kind regards.

OK, intrigued I have just skimmed through the movie and really am starting to wonder if you ever even saw any of it or you are just repeating what you read online. Because the most controversial thing I saw was some younger teenage girls dancing (what I would compare to average highschool cheerleading moves) in shorts and tank tops in a fairly serious looking drama movie about emancipation of girls in an Islamic upbringing. I think that equating it to child pornography is a bit strong. If anything, the filmmakers themselves stated that it is in fact a critique of the hypersexualisation of teenage girls, not an endorsement of it, so it seems to me like you are totally missing the picture, but whatever, I'll just drop it now. You are entitled to your opinion no matter how you came to it I guess. I still won't watch the entire movie simply because I am not interested in it. Kind regards.

Who do you believe then? Have you even looked at the film, let alone seen it through? I looked at it. What do YOU  base YOUR opinion on? That is all I am asking, because to me it sounds like you are basing it on a bunch of conservative hearsay, meaning you are basing it on NOTHING. See, I too can use caps lock to emphasize my point, but I do also throw in an argument or two in there as well unlike yourself who just regurgitates the internet. Thanks. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Please, no more about the controversial film. Please don't get this thread locked or disappeared over politics or personal attacks or whatever. The points have been made. Let's all move on please. Thanks! B)
