Aerodyne03 Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 I open this topic for a simple question, here in Europe almost all trucks have a synchronized ZF gearbox, on the Italian forums I often read that the Americans are much more fond of el fuller (I also know that if you learn to use it, it is better than zf). So I was wondering the gear box found on Italeri cummins engines, as an aesthetic, would it be good to be mounted on more modern trucks as well? (Italeri trucks with that engine are now a bit dated ...?)
Fabrux Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Eaton Fuller transmissions have been the standard for years and wouldn't have changed much externally since that kit was made. They're not synchronized and popular variations are 7, 9, 10, 13, 15, and 18 forward gears.
Aerodyne03 Posted August 6, 2020 Author Posted August 6, 2020 Ok, thank you very much, I wanted to combine a fuller italeri eaton gearbox with an a & n isx15 cummins engine the result should be this (photo taken by another forun, not mine ...?)
