Clay Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Yeah it tends to glow in the dark some.
Guest 66dragfreak Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I think it's coming along great Clay! I think this is great to get you out of your slump as well. Not too detailed and you are making steady progress with this truck. I know one thing that depressed the heck out of me is when I'm detailing the daylights out fo something and I spend hours at my bench and have hardly anything to show for my efforts because I'm modifying this part or scratchbuilding that part. I think it's imperative that we, as builders, see at least some progress at the end of a long session at the bench, ya know? I have this kit still sealed and am looking forward to building it after seeing your work. Keep us posted and again, it's great to see you building again!!!!
plumnuts Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 hay clay, what happened to the strech? I see trucks cut all apart then one BRIGHT standard cab. did I miss somthing?

Clay Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 Thanks for all the comments guys. Yes the color is bright. Sorry plumnuts I just couldn't cut a kit that was going together so smoothly. Ok guys this thing is rounding the final turn. Should have it done by the weekend hopefully. Been doing a little here and there so its getting together slowly. All thats left is components under the hood and a little bit of detailing. Hopefully I can use a sharpie to do the black trim.

Clay Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 I accidently glued the windshield to the inside instead of the outside.

Raul_Perez Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I accidently glued the windshield to the inside instead of the outside. Clay, I have an extra set of glass for the Lightning that i can send you. I'll drop it in the mail, but it'll probably be Saturday before I have time to get to the post office. Later,
Clay Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 I forgot I had another kit of this. So I used the kit glass from that one to finish this one. The glue is drying and I will snap some pictures when its done.
