I just finished this build today. A Tamiya kit that I picked up unstarted for $15 and built for my wife. She liked the little car and picked out the paint. It is Rust-Oleum Marigold. The only changes to the kit were spark plugs wires (which ended up interfering with the hood, so I had to thin the center of the underside of the hood. It looks like the hood is sitting high in the front but this is actually a design feature of the hood.

Hope you like it. Comments and criticisms welcomed.

Very nice build,  when I came to England in 1976, my English teacher had one of these in pretty much the same colour,  loved the car, not the teacher so much......

Very nice.  I've often looked at one of these, how was the construction?

Thanks. The kit went together beautifully. I didn't have any trouble with it at all.

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

Very nice! Great color choice.

What clear did you use over the Rustoleum?

Thanks. I used Testors Wet Look Clear over the paint.

That is a sweet Alfa you have there!

15 bucks ? That's a heckuva deal for that kit!

Thanks. Yeah, I was surprised when I looked on eBay for another one to buy and the one I found went for $76.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
