Geezerman Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Had a "Gathering of Outlaws" build on TRaK a while back. This is the ride I took there. Local modeler, Dan Kunick, had givin me the cab and a couple of other parts from the "Orange Blossom Special" hauler. I chopped, sectioned, bashed and put it on a homemade frame. Named it after my fave outlaw.
Raul_Perez Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Too cool, Geezer! I really like the way you brought the lower lip from the inner fender shield up from the front of the body to make it part of the headlight mount. Keep up the GREAT work!!

Actually, Raul, that piece was part of the body. I just kept it in place and did the sectioning above it. Here are 3 fotos I took while I was sectioning. I marked my intended sections by placing tape on the orange body and spraying a thin coat of black. This was 1/4 inch tape for this build. Take off the tape and my sectioning guide lines are pretty indestructable. In the 1st foto, I have already removed the section slice from the nose area.
Raul_Perez Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Thanks for the explanation and the pics!! I always get too busy during this phase of the process and forget to take in-process pics. Later,
