Sam I Am
Looking for one taillight lens for this 1962 Mercury. If I cannot find one, I might see if I can whittle down a lite-brite peg. ?
Ramfins59
You could also try using a piece of clear red sprue.

doorsovdoon
Coloured cocktail sticks might work.
Elmer Fudd
i might have some transparent red taillight sprue, enough to make one lens. you would need to practice on some scrap, first, because all i am willing to give away is enough for one. PM me if you want to play and give me the major diameter of your sample. i like that model car. i would like to see it saved.
Tom Geiger
If you decide to make a lens, make both so they match.
jokar124
Original and later issue AMT '57 T-bird kits with Styline parts have custom taillight lenses which are very similar. Edited September 7, 2020 by jokar124

Bills72sj
I think you can do it with transparent red sprue. Just chuck some in your Dremel and whittle one or two down to the desired profile. Sand with progressively finer grit sand paper then dip or brush with Future. I think you will be pleased with the results.
Sam I Am
I may have to use the sprue, my 57 kit does not have all the extras. Edited September 7, 2020 by Sam I Am
