Great build of a car that is seldom spoken of. I always liked that car. Could you please share with us the kits you used to bring this beauty to life. What about the decals. I do not recall anyone offering those. I really like the Micky Mouse on the hood. Wonderful build. Thank You for sharing.

This is an MPC Roadrunner street car body. The chassis and engine is from a Polar Lights Charger. The rims and tires are from PPP. The decals I had made for me a couple years ago. I plan way in advance.? This thing has been on my bench at least a year and a half. It fought me the whole way. I’ve built four or five others the same way. This one just didn’t want to behave itself.

Looks Awesome , Tim. Super clean and beautiful paint and decals. I saw this car run at Texas World Speedway back in 1972 . Brooks wasnt driving it then but it was keeping up with the front runners. When it won n 1973 with Brooks I thought it was really cool.  The brothers who owned this car weren't the typical Nascar team. The brothers were actually  Airline Pilots for Eastern Airlines. One of them came up with an intake manifold that gave them a pretty good advantage  with the restrictor plate. Even though it was deemed legal for the race Bill France outlawed it later. The reason Mickey is on the hood is because France before the race said that the Crawford brothers had a Mickey Mouse team. Needless to say he wasn't too happy when they won the race.
