Nacho Z Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Those of you that may have a few years on you might remember The Munsters. Grandpa had to build a race car and win a drag race to get back the Munster Koach that Herman lost. I remember watching it as a kid. I built the DRAG-U-LA for FB group Halloween theme build. It was a fun model to build. I added a few aftermarket pieces to enhance its appearance. I hope it puts a smile on your face!
Misha Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 That’s a great build John and your photos enhance it by revealing the underside. Did you use a mirror with a dark background to reflect? Cheers Misha

Misha Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Thanks for sharing your photo technique, it sure is effective. I would like to try it myself. Cheers Misha
Slimguy Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Very nice job on this one John. Love what you did with some over the detail touches. Did you do the Munster Koach as well?

shoopdog Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Looks very nice! I built one about a month ago and it definitely was a fun build. Just finished the Koach yesterday.
TooOld Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Your eye for detail really made for a beautiful DRAG-U-LA !! Whose wire wheels did you use ?

It is always nice to see comments on your build. I will post a pic of the wheels' package. There are several places to get them. I don't want to step on anyone's toes by not suggesting their business. Even Curt states in his packaging that the rims are a little rough and will need to be polished up. No slam on Curt, I will buy more, but they will need a little work to get a shine on them. Make sure to measure your kit tires and/or rims to get the correct size.
Dann Tier Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 This is FANTASTIC, Bud!!!!....makes me wanna build another one!!! I think its my second favorite custom car.
58 Impala Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 (edited) Nice job. I loved that car ever since I saw it as a kid on the Munsters. I also built one myself a while back. Edited October 16, 2020 by 58 Impala
