cobraman
I had planned on using the kit decals if I do the white number 4 car.

What do I know I’m a Ford guy. ? Those decals are the VRM sets. Lots of extras and several versions on each sheet. But the ones shown are not roadsters. First set is basically the Mecom cars whcih had a different hood that in the kit. There is a resin Mecom hood for like $3 from HRM. Second set has the Delmo Johnson car (before the Revell version came out) and stripes and the Jim Hall (I think) # 2 that is white over blue. I'm pretty sure the 67 car was a solid white car. No shame in being a Ford guy. Ok maybe a little... LOL

SfanGoch
For any future builds, I recommend Model Car Garage's Corvette Grand Sport Detail Set.

I can deal with the larger parts, but the smaller parts, I should just cut them loose and fling them into space from the get-go.
SfanGoch
Still a great build, Ray.
cobraman
Old age,, poor eyesight, fat fingers that always get glue on them .Keep me away from the PE parts as nice as they are. There are 3 sets of PE louvers included in this kit and took me quite awhile to get them together. My wife said I made up new cus words. ? gbtr6
I agree they are small. I do 1/43 stuff too, and even the big parts are small. A magnifying visor, and toothpicks help. If you set the PE fret on masking tape, painters tape, then cut the parts, they don't fly. Just take an Xacto knife under the part and slowly pick up. Having a PE folding tool is great too. 65slotcar
Ray , great job so far. very clean build. round piece on roll bar is an upper third brake light (ahead of the there time) a quick easy trick is to add a red lense. i think i used one from a semi truck model. cobraman
I painted it silver and then used clear red over that.
