rob1957
The decals for my '71 340 Duster tore in a number places and I have to start over . Any suggestions as to how I remove these ? I'm having lots of trouble . Robert.
rob1957
I forgot to ask when I posted earlier , is there a company that would stock decals for the '71 340 Duster , such as Detail Masters, etc ? Thank You . Robert.
stitchdup
Washing in warm water should make the decals come off fairly easily

Tom Geiger
Drop me a private message. I know I have this, just a matter of which decals you need from the kit sheet. I’d be happy to help
rob1957
I need the side stripes . There was a set of black stripes and a set of white . I used the white . Painting the car Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue , trying to match the box art so I don't think the black would like right . If someone has an extra set that'd be great . I couldn't believe how fragile these were , how easy they came apart , even sliding them off the backing paper onto the car they split in a number of places . Tom Geiger
Got it in my hand! One decal cut from sheet, whatever is to left of license plates and right of black strobe. All side and rear decals good. PM me your mailing info and I’ll drop in morning mail
935k3
See this before applying those decals. Old Decals
slusher
Try some masking tape over your old decals. If that does not work run warm water and rub with a sponge...
rob1957
We finally got them off !! What a job . Amazing how fragile they were during application but how tough they were trying to get them off . I thought they might have become brittle with age but I don't think this kit is all that old . AMT '71 Duster 340 ,AMT1118M/12 . Any one know when this kit was released ? It was a learning experience .
Rodent
If it is this one, it is quite recent. It is the one still in hobby shops and Hobby Lobby.

dimaxion
I found on my '57 Mercury Pace Car a quick and clean method . Ty Slusher for the Masking Tape Method . Inadvertently I discovered "goo' 'o'l" Scotch Tape lifts decals both old and new off like magic . Ummm , does anyone have the Right Side Pace Car Decalst they are willing to part with ?? Oops moment . Thanx
