I forgot to ask when I posted earlier , is there a company that would stock decals for the '71 340 Duster , such as Detail Masters, etc ?

Thank You .

Robert.

Which decals do you need? The side stripes, or.... ?? Someone here probably has what you need in their spares box.

I need the side stripes . There was a set of black stripes and a set of white  . I used the white . Painting the car Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue , trying to match the box art

so I don't think the black would like right .

If someone has an extra set that'd be great .

I couldn't believe how fragile these were , how easy they came apart , even sliding them off the backing paper onto the car they split in a number of places .

We finally got them off !! What a job . Amazing how fragile they were during application but how  tough they were trying to get them off .

I thought they might have become brittle with age but I don't think this kit is all that old . AMT '71 Duster 340 ,AMT1118M/12 .

Any one know when this kit was released ?

It was a learning experience .

Inadvertently I discovered "goo'  'o'l" Scotch Tape lifts decals both old and new off like magic . Ummm , does anyone have the Right Side Pace Car Decalst they are willing to part with ??   Oops moment .  Thanx
