Abell82 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I recently stumbled across a pic on the 'net, of a Manta 400. Needless to say I was instantly intrigued. I have looked for a kit, but not been able to find one. There is a resin version by Narton Model Cars, (Narton Model cars) but they only seem to ship to dealers? Anyone know where I can get a kit of one of these beauties?
ChevyFan Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 It looks very similar to the Chevy Monza 2+2. Just with a bit of a sedan back end added. Maybe you could scratchbuild off of that, if you have the skills. I know that I personally wouldn't. Well, not yet anyway. Don't know if that'll help you out.
Abell82 Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 The problem isn't that it's diecast, it's that it's 1/18th scale. I would prefer something in 1/24th or 1/25th scale.

Yep that style Opel Manta was Heavily influenced by the Monza's of the same time frame(They are Euro Cousins after all)....
gasdriverca Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 If you have an e-bay account go to the international sites click on Germany and they have the resin Manta's for about 30Euro ($38 or there about) but I cant remember the dealers name. hope that'll push you in the right direction my friend.
