kilrathy10 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 This baby looks awesome, Man... You've got some excellent weathering skills, for sure... RC ship modeling, huh? I've been thinking about branching out into RC, myself... Only thing is... It's so expensive... I bought my daughter a whole car for $500, and to purchase the basics for a big rig will cost in excess of $1000... ? That's not including building a trailer for it, even....But, it sure looks like big fun... ? I'd love to see some of what you've done... Anything posted, here on this forum, or do you have them somewhere else? Or do you even post them at all?

Anything posted, here on this forum, or do you have them somewhere else? Or do you even post them at all? JT, Thank you very much. I've been building rc scale ships for over 40 years now. I love building all types of plastic models, and have been flying rc scale planes for 20 years now. RC ships can be somewhat cheaper than other types of rc models (they don't fall out of the sky), and I like the fact that you can copy, or design any type of boat/ship. Here are a few of my boats; all are 1/12th scale (1'=1"), range from 30" to 50". I have built larger, but age is catching up. I try to stay around 30"-36". All of my boat models are electric powered, and I try to use a sealed lead acid (sla) battery. I enjoy scratch building, kit bashing, and kit building model boats. Mark

Also search the net for a company named ZIPPKITS; they make a simple model boat kit called the "TUGSTER", and can also supply the running gear. Mark
