raisin27
Completing another of my unfinished models from 2011. Detailing the engine on this Comet Pro Stock. I tried something new, making upper shocks and mounts from crimp beads and aluminum rod. I still say these parts are a lot smaller than they were in 2011!

Claude Thibodeau
Hi Mike! Well, all those smaller parts amount to a great engine compartment. Everything looks "in scale". Bravo! CT

R. Thorne
Very realistic. What did you use for plug wires and “silicone” boots? Did you make the super coil? Hard to tell in the pic, but, did you flatten the aluminum rod (on the shock)? Thanks, Ron.

Thanks, The boots are made from computer wire insulation and yes, thats why I used aluminum rod so it would be soft enough to flatten the ends. dragcarz
So I’m curious, what chassis did you use under the Comet body, several schools of thought on this obviously. I would love to see some other pics of the details, looks amazing!

JohnnyK
Super fantastic. If I may ask, what did you use for hose clamps? They add the perfect amount of "bling".
